A girl kicks a pig, a collector shows her home, a child learns her name. These are all glimpses into the experiences of women in the Bateyes residing in La Romana, Dominican Republic. My Dad, The Toy Man

Short documentary about the action figure sculptor Tommy Rego (who also happens to be my dad). Contains a brief history of his personal and professional work, with an emphasis on sculpting's transition from traditional wax and clay to 3D digital modeling. Shot on Canon 7D with old analog Nikon photography lenses. Music by myself.
